The biotechrabbit™ GenUP Virus DNA/RNA Kit is specifically designed for the rapid and easy isolation of viral RNA and DNA. This kit is particularly useful when the virus source is unknown. Both double-stranded DNA and single-stranded RNA from viruses are simultaneously isolated from eukaryotic samples, including plasma, serum, and other body fluids, as well as from cell cultures, tissues, and oral samples.

The unique high-capacity mini filter membranes ensure high yield. By using various extraction volumes, a high concentration of purified nucleic acids can be achieved. This kit also includes carrier RNA.

After several initial steps, viral nucleic acids bind to a mini filter, are washed, and then extracted into a separate tube. The purified nucleic acids are ready for use in all advanced molecular biology applications, including cDNA synthesis, Northern analysis, qPCR, and RT-PCR.
