The biotechrabbit™ GenUP Total RNA Kit is specifically designed for the rapid and easy purification of total RNA from eukaryotic cell suspensions, tissues, biopsy samples, Gram-negative bacteria (such as E. coli), Gram-positive bacteria, and other sources. After several initial steps, RNA binds to a filter, is washed, and then extracted into a separate tube. DNA is physically removed by binding to a filter, without the need for DNase treatment or the use of toxic β-mercaptoethanol. The purified RNA is ready for use in all advanced molecular biology applications, including cDNA synthesis, Northerns, and other applications.
