🧬 Product Overview

The Easy® ALK Kit, developed by Diatech Pharmacogenetics (Italy), is a real-time PCR assay for the qualitative detection of abnormal ALK tyrosine kinase domain expression caused by gene fusion events—frequently observed in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and other solid tumors.

Detection is achieved through reverse transcription (RT) followed by co-amplification of the 3′ region of ALK mRNA (detected with FAM probe) and an internal control gene (detected with HEX probe), ensuring process reliability and diagnostic precision.
