Detection and Quantification of inv(16)(p13;q22) Fusion Transcript

The REALQUALITY® RS-INV 16 kit, developed by AB ANALITICA (Italy), is a CE-IVD certified Real-Time PCR assay designed for the identification and quantification of fusion transcripts resulting from the pericentric inversion of chromosome 16, known as inv(16)(p13;q22).
This chromosomal rearrangement involves the CBFβ gene located in region 16q22 and the MYH11 gene located in region 16p13, which are commonly associated with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), subtype M4Eo.

Detection of the CBFβ-MYH11 fusion transcript is a crucial marker for diagnosis, classification, and prognosis in AML patients.
Using advanced Real-Time RT-PCR technology, the kit provides high analytical sensitivity and reproducibility for both qualitative detection and quantitative monitoring of this molecular target.
