The CD79a Antibody is a highly specific immunohistochemical marker for identifying B-cell neoplasms.

 CD79a Antibody is a dimeric transmembrane protein composed of two distinct subunits, CD79a and CD79b, expressed throughout B-cell development from the pro-B stage to plasma cells.

This antibody is a valuable diagnostic tool for differentiating B-cell lymphomas from other hematopoietic neoplasms and for evaluating B-cell maturation in bone marrow and lymphoid tissues.

⚙️ Principle of the Assay CD79a Antibody

During the IHC process, the CD79a Antibody antibody binds to the B-cell membrane antigen. The HRP-conjugated secondary antibody forms the antigen–antibody–HRP complex, which reacts with DAB chromogen to produce a brown insoluble stain on the membrane of positive cells.
