MUC-4 Antibody (Immunohistochemistry)

Exclusive Distributor of Talent Biomedical in Iran

The MUC-4 Antibody, a large membrane-bound glycoprotein from the mucin family, is specifically expressed by epithelial
cells in normal tissues such as the lungs, bronchi, stomach, colon, and cervix. This antibody is not detected in normal pancreas
but is expressed in the majority of pancreatic neoplasms, such as pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. Additionally, expression has been
reported in various carcinomas, including gastric adenocarcinoma, colon adenocarcinoma, and lung adenocarcinoma.

This antibody is specifically used for antigen detection in tissue sections. By using a DAB chromogenic solution, antigens are identified, aiding in more accurate diagnostics.

Key Features of the MUC-4 Antibody:

  • Specific identification in cell membranes

  • Application in diagnosing pancreatic, gastric, colon, and lung adenocarcinomas

  • Fast and precise antigen identification using DAB solution

  • Positive Localization: Cytoplasm

Technical Specifications:
