It is formulated in accordance with international standards (e.g., ISO, APHA) and supports the growth of E.

at elevated incubation temperatures (typically 44.5°C), enhancing selectivity.

This product is manufactured by BioLab and exclusively imported and distributed in Iran by Fardad Azma Rad Co.

Key Features and Composition:

  • Tryptose and Peptones:
    Provide nitrogen, carbon, and essential growth factors

  • Lactose:
    Sole carbohydrate source; fermentation by E. coli produces gas, indicating a positive result

  • Buffered Phosphates:
    Maintain pH stability during incubation

  • Elevated Incubation Temperature (44.5°C):
    Selective condition that favors E. coli growth while inhibiting other coliforms
