PD-1 Antibody (Immunohistochemistry)
The PD-1 (Programmed Death-1) Antibody is a specific immunohistochemical marker used for the identification of Angioimmunoblastic T-Cell Lymphoma (AITL) and immune-related studies.
PD-1 is expressed on activated T-cells, B-cells, and myeloid cells, playing a central role in immune tolerance and regulation.
Unlike CD10 and BCL6, PD-1 is expressed by few B-cells, making it a more specific marker for identifying follicular T-cell origin lymphomas.
🔬 Features and Benefits
-
Specific for AITL: Identifies follicular T-cell origin lymphomas
-
Distinct cytoplasmic/membrane staining: Brown staining pattern in positive cells
-
Clinically valuable: Helps differentiate T-cell lymphomas from other lymphoid malignancies
-
Compatible with standard IHC protocols
-
Excellent stability: 18-month shelf life at 2–8 °C
💡 Diagnostic Applications
-
Diagnosis of Angioimmunoblastic T-Cell Lymphoma (AITL)
-
Evaluation of PD-1/PD-L1 immune checkpoint pathways
