Assay Principle

During the IHC procedure, the primary CAM5.2 antibody binds directly to its target antigen.
Next, a secondary HRP-conjugated antibody attaches to the primary antibody and forms a stable complex.
Finally, the DAB chromogen reacts with this complex and produces a brown cytoplasmic stain, confirming the presence of the antigen.
