Chromogranin A Antibody (Immunohistochemistry)
The Chromogranin A Antibody (Immunohistochemistry) is a highly specific immunohistochemical
marker used for identifying neuroendocrine tumors (NETs).
It serves as a precursor to several biologically active peptides, including vasostatin, pancreastatin, and parastatin,
which act as modulators in the neuroendocrine system.
Positive cytoplasmic staining for CgA is observed in neuroendocrine tumors of the lung, pancreas,
gastrointestinal tract, and adrenal glands, including pheochromocytomas and carcinoid tumors.
🔬 Features and Benefits Chromogranin A Antibody
