The CD45 Antibody, also known as Leukocyte Common Antigen (LCA), is one of the most essential immunohistochemical markers for detecting hematopoietic neoplasms.
CD45 is a membrane tyrosine phosphatase expressed on most hematopoietic cells, excluding erythrocytes and platelets. It regulates cell growth, differentiation, signaling, and oncogenic transformation in immune cells.

In pathology, CD45 is a key marker used to differentiate lymphomas from carcinomas, melanomas, and sarcomas.
It typically shows brown membranous staining in lymphoid cells, serving as a reliable diagnostic indicator.
