CD34 Antibody (Immunohistochemistry)
The CD34 Antibody is a widely used immunohistochemical marker for the detection of hematopoietic stem cells, endothelial cells, and certain soft tissue tumors.
CD34 is a transmembrane phosphoglycoprotein that serves as a specific marker for hematopoietic progenitor cells and vascular endothelium.
It is commonly used to identify blasts in Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) and to evaluate vascular or stromal tumors such as Solitary Fibrous Tumor (SFT) and Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor (GIST).
IHC staining for CD34 typically shows brown membranous and cytoplasmic positivity in the targeted cells.
