CD30 Antibody (Immunohistochemistry)
The CD30 Antibody is an important immunohistochemical marker used for detecting Hodgkin Lymphoma and Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma (ALCL).
CD30 is a transmembrane receptor of the TNF receptor family, expressed by Reed-Sternberg cells in classical Hodgkin lymphoma and in most cases of ALCL.
It also shows positive staining in Primary Cutaneous CD30+ T-cell Lymphoproliferative Disorders and Embryonal Carcinomas.
The staining pattern is typically membranous and cytoplasmic brown, providing valuable diagnostic information for distinguishing lymphoid neoplasms from non-hematologic tumors.
